The forums, or discussion groups, that are part of the 'Community' section of the site allow HispanicHealth.info members to communiate directly with each other by sharing information, collaborating on projects or proposals, debating topics of interest etc. To participate:

• Click on the 'Community' tab in the center navigation menu
• Click on either 'General Discussion' to enter the public forum or 'Member Specific Discussion' to enter the members-only forum
• To post a new discussion topic, click 'Post new forum topic', fill in the required fields and click "Submit"

• Click on the 'Contribute!' link in the top of the left navigation menu
• Choose from the list of content types, depending on what kind of information you want to submit
• If you are submitting a Resource, News or Research, be sure to select the appropriate tags in the 'Category' menu(s)
• "Tagging" assures that your submission will display in the right section(s) of the site
• For example, you can tag a News Story as a resource related to 'Obesity' and 'Diabetes' and as a 'News Story' and it will show up in three separate places on the site
