Improving the Validity and Generalizability of Studies with Underserved U.S. Populations Expanding the Research Paradigm

This article examines the disparity in cancer mortality rates among different U.S. ethnic groups. According to the article, higher cancer mortality rates among U.S. ethnic minorities could be stemmed if medical research examined multi-cultural rather than solely euro-centric risk and treatment factors.
